Creekside – Forest Nest Whistler – 5 min Walk to Gondola

Creekside – Forest Nest Whistler – 5 min Walk to Gondola

Welcome to our family adventure pad. We are just steps to Creekside Gondola, Creekside Village, shops, bars, liquor store, restaurants, and some beautiful winter & summer walks. Everything you need for an adventurous, or relaxing, stay on the quiet side of town. There’s even ice skating if the lakes are frozen!
This home is lovingly used by our family lots of the year, but we can’t come every weekend….creating a great opportunity for you.

The bedroom has a bunk bed, queen size over twin, in the main bedroom and will sleep two people comfortably. The living area features a queen-size pull-out sofa, providing sleeping space for two additional guests. The kitchen is the perfect size for vacation cooking, with plenty of space in the living room to dine. The kitchen has all basic dishes, utensils, and pots, including a slow cooker for long ski days, a French press, and a blender for quick breakfasts. We keep shampoo, conditioner & body wash stocked for your convenience.

A consideration – if you don’t like stairs, our place is not for you. The 80 steps in ski boots can be discouraging after a long day. It helps to know that it will make you stronger 🙂 You will enjoy complimentary outdoor parking, a full kitchen, a full bathroom with a bathtub, in-suite washer/dryer & WiFi. Feel like a local and explore like a visitor!

Welcome to our cozy Whistler retreat! Whether you’re looking to hit the slopes, mountain bike through endless trails, spend the day at the lake, or relax with a good book and a glass of wine… this little mountain getaway is the perfect home base!

Just a short stroll from Creekside gondola (ticket office, ski rental & ski school). A supermarket, liquor store, and several excellent restaurants are similarly close by, our home is super convenient for all mountain enthusiasts! With storage inside the unit for skis and up to two bikes, you can ensure your gear is safe, secure & ready to go!

Ideally located for the Creekside lift into the WB bike park, for other non-bike park trails, it’s also just a quick ride over the pedestrian overpass at Nita Lodge to the westside trails and up to the now legendary Lord of the Squirrels trail. Also, a short ride on the valley trail to the Cheakamus Crossing trail system with world-class loops back to the Creekside. Along with in-unit bike storage, we are perfectly set up for a stay ripping all the amazing trails in and around Whistler!

With its own front door (no common area doors/hallways/elevators etc) our unit is ideal for mitigating any COVID-19 risks. We would like to reiterate that every precaution is being taken to ensure that the unit is sanitized and disinfected to the highest possible standard. Keypads, door handles, appliances, buttons, and flat surfaces are all given double down attention. If you have any questions or queries on any of these or any specific requests, please let us know, as we are here to ensure you have a safe and delightful stay in this fabulous part of the world.

Where you’ll be

Walking to the gondola straight from the door is priceless! But we also love the unique Whistler wild wood playgrounds for the kids at Creekside (next to Rockit Cafee) and Alpha Lake. Samurai Bowl at the bottom of the stairs, Creekbread (pizza) and Fix Café at Nita Lake Lodge across the highway are local food favorites! Creekside market has all the grocery selections you need to make your own meals and the BC liquor store is just a skip across the street. Bred by Ed is a real treasure. Then there’s Dusty’s…best après in Whistler.

Getting around

A single parking pass is included in your stay. Parking pass must be displayed; this is strictly enforced! It’s a five minute drive or less into the Whistler village. Creekside is a hub for the local bus network with trips into the village via routes 21 and 25. See the BC transit website for schedules and maps. Also, the valley trails connect in Creekside and make for great walks in all directions.
